WRAS Tecnologies Limited was set up in September 2002 with support from Middlesex University.

The company has Intellectual Property Rights on an array of products for size selective sampling of particulate matter.

The WRAS systems were partly developed using EC funds. This new sampling technology has been successfully used during international trials to assess exposure in the work place to airborn lead particles in the crystal glass industry.

Currently WRAS systems are being used to test exposure to aluminium particles in the French aluminium industry.

EC Funds of 250,000 Euros have been secured as part of an EC funded project to assess exposure in the work place to airborn particles of silicates in the ceramics industry.
